Lindsay Docherty Photography Holidays

I love designing greeting cards and I've got quite the collection. It seems only fair that I should show you my holiday card from this year… (Mom, don't look – wait til you get yours!)

The poem reads:
A Canuck, a Scot, and a beast
moved far from home in the east.
With holidays near
we wish you great cheer
And we don't miss the cold in the least.

A big thank you to the fabulous Julie of Julie Cheshire Photography who took the pictures. (And a thank you to Ms. Gabor in fourth grade for teaching me about limericks.)

Rich, Emma, and I will be traveling back east to celebrate Christmas with the family. I'll be in Berlin, MD and Raleigh, NC for Christmas. We'll be taking the 5 hour drive on Christmas day so we can see both families. We'll be ringing in the New Year in Charleston, SC. And then I'll be in Tampa, FL for Imaging USA.

I went to Imaging USA last year for the first time and had a blast. It was pretty cold and dreary in San Antonio but I met a great group of photographers from Alpharetta, GA – Tanner Photography. Here's a shot of the Tanner clan from last year.

And here's a little holiday cheer from my little beast, Emma:

Just for fun...

Bah-Humbug

And a little elfing too...

And the Grinch , with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.
